FittingRoom works from your photo and your measurements. This page states exactly what is collected, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to take it back.
1. Who processes your data
The data controller is the publisher of FittingRoom. For anything concerning your data: contact@fittingroom.fr.
2. What we collect, and why
We only collect what the app needs in order to work. Nothing is sold to third parties.

The app asks for no media read permission at all. The system picker lets you choose one photo, and the app receives only that one. It reaches neither your GPS location, nor your contacts, nor the rest of your gallery.
3. Processing by artificial intelligence
To produce a try-on, your photo and the garment photo are sent to our generative artificial intelligence provider, which generates the result image. Stylist suggestions go through the same provider, together with the contents of your wardrobe.
The result is a simulation. It guarantees neither the real cut, nor the exact colour, nor the size of the garment once worn.
4. Who your data is shared with
We use providers acting on our behalf, each within a defined scope:

We do not sell your data and pass it to no data broker. It may be disclosed to an authority where the law requires it.
5. Payments
Subscriptions and credits are bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Your payment details are handled by those stores and never reach us. We only receive whether a subscription is active or not.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, on the provider's Data Privacy Framework certification.
7. How long
- Account, content, photos and results: kept for as long as your account exists.
- After account deletion: active data erased within thirty days, apart from technical backups that expire on their own.
- Billing records and accounting documents: ten years, as the law requires.
- Technical logs: twelve months at most.
8. Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you the following rights:
- Access your data and obtain a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased, and delete your account from inside the app.
- Restrict or object to a processing operation.
- Receive your data in a machine readable format.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, in particular for advertising and notifications, without affecting what was done before.
Write to contact@fittingroom.fr. We answer within one month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority, CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, cnil.fr, or to the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
9. Advertising and consent
Free accounts see ads served by Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form appears before the first ad. Your choice is stored and you can reopen it from the app settings.
10. Minors
The app is not intended for anyone under fifteen. If you find that an account was opened by a child under fifteen without parental consent, write to contact@fittingroom.fr and the account will be deleted.
11. Security
Exchanges with our servers are encrypted in transit. Access to data is restricted and logged. Since no system is infallible, we will inform you and the competent authority of any data breach likely to create a risk to your rights.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may change along with the app. The effective date appears at the top of this page, and any substantial change will be signalled inside the app.
